The location
The village is an ancient middleages settlement in which are leaving, to day, 15 persons.
One of them is taking care of the garden/swimmimg pool and a lady is taking care of daily cleaning.
The house is on the western side of the village; the front and east side look to the settlement
while the south side looks to the country side and enjoies of a wonderfull
mountain panorama. No shop is available in the village itself, baker and
green grocer are providing the village by truck three times a week, a small
grocery is available in Caprile, at 5 minutes by car or twenty minutes of walk.
All services are available in Badia Tedalda (an ancient longobard town) where
the municipality is located as well as first aid and medical services. Badia is 12 km
(20 minutes by car) far from Arsicci.
Other important towns near Arsicci are
Pieve Santo Stefano (12 km) and Sansepolcro, Piero della Francesca town, (16 km and 25 minutes by car).
The closest hospital and railway station are located in Sansepolcro.
The closest bus stop is located 5 km away from Arsicci.
Arsicci is a very quiet village and, by night, no noise will disturb you.
25 km north east of Sansepolcro, 60 km east of Arezzo and 70 km north of Perugia.
The closest airports are Perugia and Forlì 70 km far, Firenze and Bologna 120 km away. The closest railway stations are Sansepolcro 25 km away, Arezzo and Rimini 70 km far.

The ancient farm owner house is located in Arsicci, a small Appennino village which is 850 meters above sea level. The village is surrounded by a wonderful panorama.
Arsicci is located close to river Tevere springs. There are many marked panoramic paths of different difficulty levels on the surrounding mountains. The GEA path, which follows the Appennini ridge, passes nearby the village.
A thirty minutes car run allows to reach the art towns of the upper Tiber valley such as : Sansepolcro (Piero della Francesca town), Monterchi, Anghiari, Pieve Santo Stefano (the diaries town).
Many of the most important art towns of central Italy can be visited in one day trip.
On the Tirrenian side there are Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Montefalco, Spoleto, Perugia, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano, Firenze and Siena.
On the Adriatic side there are Urbino, Ravenna, Rimini, San Marino and San Leo stronghold.
There are also a multitude of fashinating castles, shrines and hermitages such as La Verna and Camaldoli, sites of great spirituality in the Middle Ages and Italian Renaissance.
